We are Curo Health – a GP federation formed from 27 general practices spanning 4 Primary Care Networks (PCNs) across North Kirklees.
We proudly work together as a community of general practices to help save money, secure investment, strengthen our teams and deliver high quality primary care services at scale – such as evening and weekend appointments.
For the people of North Kirklees, our joint approach always aims to create better standards of care, shorter waiting times and faster access to care, right in the heart of our communities where it should be.
Call 999 for serious and life threatening conditions only.
Call 111 or go online if your medical need is urgent but not an emergency.
Call your GP practice during opening hours for advice, appointments and prescriptions.
There is always a doctor on call for urgent care that cannot wait until your surgery re-opens.

Very good for people who work and can’t get in at their practice
Great idea, especially for those like myself who find it difficult to attend appointments during
normal GP hours due to work.
I am very grateful to have seen a GP today as my GP was not available
I feel this service is very helpful, as without it I feel I would have gone to A&E but didn’t need
to due to this service.
It’s good to know that we can see a doctor on the weekend instead of going to hospital
Great GP experience, well informed and supportive.
Very Good Service 5*
A group of general practices usually covering a large geographical area or town that work together to plan and deliver primary care services at scale. By doing this, we use NHS resources more sustainably and resiliently and it allows individual GP practices to deliver the best care to local people.
A smaller group of general practices working together with a range of local providers, including across primary care, community services, social care and the voluntary sector, to offer more personalised, coordinated health and social care to their local communities. Read more here
This sort of service is an additional service commissioned by NHS North Kirklees CCG to complement existing GP services within North Kirklees. By running the service from a central location, using existing North Kirklees clinicians, we are able to provide this vital service sustainably for local people. By working as a group of practices, we can also offer a wider range of services to you, such as routine nurse appointments.
